Two earthquakes struck Playa Grande, in La Guaira, on June 24 — they took homes, streets and certainties. But not the community. At It's a Fake Wedding we believe the family you choose shows up when things get hard — and this is that moment.
Share the Love is our giving-back arm. The same wedding crew that fills the dance floor, now rallying for the families of Playa Grande with urgent medical aid, direct support and rebuilding. Every contribution becomes something real — and here you can see it.

Money is only part of it. Behind it: aid boxes with food, clothing and supplies donated by so many in Madrid, volunteers and family — reaching many more families than the ones we support directly. Love that no number can hold.
El dinero es solo una parte. Detrás hay cajas de ayuda con alimentos, ropa e insumos donados por muchísima gente en Madrid, voluntarios y familia — ayuda que ha llegado a muchas más familias que las que apoyamos directamente. Amor que no cabe en un número.

9 hours trapped. Still standing. 9 horas atrapada. Sigue de pie.
Judith spent nine hours trapped under the rubble in La Guaira. She survived — but lost her husband and her mother. When we arrived, the urgent thing was saving her leg: we moved her, got her to the hospital and covered her first aid. She's now been discharged and moved back to El Junquito, where she has relatives who can take her in for now. In the rebuilding phase we'll come back for her — because she is no longer alone.
Judith pasó nueve horas atrapada bajo los escombros en La Guaira. Sobrevivió, pero perdió a su esposo y a su madre. Cuando llegamos, lo urgente era salvarle la pierna: la trasladamos, la llevamos al hospital y cubrimos su primera ayuda. Hoy ya recibió el alta y volvió al Junquito, con familiares que pueden acogerla. En la fase de reconstrucción volveremos por ella — porque ya no está sola.
